I have been accused of running a “literary” blog. It’s true that it has veered that direction recently. But is that all we have to offer? In the spirit of my post on March 14, 2004, I offer a decidedly unliterary addition:

Kale. I recently discovered kale when I used it to make colcannon, on St. Patrick's Day. (OK, not so recently).
Basil. I use it in everything now that I have a basil plant. It's kind of like coffee... it smells better than it tastes. I suppose it has some nutritional value, though?
